Great post, Bob. I guess Red Cross has embraced nonconformity in a big way by raising money for Haiti through texting. Suddenly, even emails from Red Cross (I get one every day) seem instantly dated, even if they'r enot. From the operational standpoint, it's especially gratifying when small upstarts toss out their big competitors' old business models -- and when those new models catch fire in other industries as well. Like car-sharing!
